Denotation: A picture of a famous rapper and his quote.
Connotation: I can infer that he has been through tough times in his life due to the fingerprints presented which convey crime situations that may have occurred in his past life. It is shown several times which means that he had made repeatedly made a lot of mistakes in his life. Additionally the serious look on the rappers face connotes how the quote he is promoting is from how his experiences have affected him.
Colour: The use of the colours black and white and how his face stands out in a dark background implying that the focus is on him and connotes power in his character. Furthermore on the right side, the background is faded and dark, where as the quote is white, showing how the use of contrast in colours conveyed the significance of the quote.
