1) McDonald's is a brand that promotes fast food and works to provide consumers with the products they require. Referring to Dyer's lines of appeal, i think that McDonald would fit under the category of happy families; the fact that everyone wants to belong. This is due to the fact that McDonald's brings families together and creates an atmosphere of happiness for most of the community.Furthermore, McDonald's would also fit with the category of childhood as it creates happy meals associated with small toys to create gratification for the younger consumers. Successful careers would also be related to McDonald as they have completely saturated the global map as they are located in most cities around the world.

Adidas:

1) Adidas is a brand that advertises and offers clothing, shoes and many products to consumers in order to satisfy their needs. According to Dyer's line of appeal, Adidas would come under the category of successful careers as their brand is very popular and well known. To create an increase in consumers purchasing their products and clothing, Adidas uses a well known celebrity wearing their clothing or turning up to a big event with their products. This generates a huge increase in their sales as a large amount of people will begin to purchase more of their products. This is due to the fact that celebrities are viewed as role models therefore a lot of the younger people in society begin to follow in their footsteps. For example if a footballer was to wear shoes from a brand during a football match, people would instantly buy them as they would automatically think if they possessed this footwear it would also make them better. This thus also places Adidas under the category of elite people.

Audi:

1) Audi is a brand that promotes cars through a variety of ways to increase profit as it uses advertisement to persuade a large amount of consumers to buy their cars. In relation to Dyer's line of appeal, Audi would fall under the categories of elite and successful careers due to the fact that their brand is worldwide and mostly known in economically developed countries thus this perceives Audi to be very successful. Additionally, Audi would also relate to the category of self importance and pride as they care about their company image and take it very seriously.
