Hailey Bieber Addresses Bullying and Negativity on Instagram   - Teen Vogue This article is about On Saturday, December 8, the model posted several messages on Instagram Stories to address the way that the social media platform — and the mean people on it — affect her mental health. “Being off of Instagram is the best thing ever,” Hailey wrote. “Whenever I take breaks from it, I feel so much better, so much happy as a person. The second I come back on I get immediate anxiety, I get sad and I get worked up.” Hailey went on to explain that, despite the fact that Instagram can be “incredible,” the app also comes with a negativity that “screams so loud.” She added that it’s sometimes hard for her to focus on her well-being and mental health when “someone is tearing apart your job, or your relationship, or essentially any of the things in your life that are positive.” This is an example of soft news because it is to do with celebrity and social media. Venus Williams aces her business  - The Voice Website This article is about a sports tennis star called Venus Williams who has started her own business. This has helped her endeavour on the court. The 38-year-old, has 49 WTA titles and is a seven-time Grand Slam singles winner. But having started lifestyle brand EleVen in 2007, she recently admitted that her proclivity for entrepreneurship had more benefits than she saw coming. She said “It helped me appreciate [my tennis] because it doesn’t matter what business you start, you start at the bottom and at tennis at least I’m at the top and I can hopefully stay here”. This is an example of Soft news because it is to do with sports and business. This type of article will appeal to an audience because it is to do with sports and a famous sports star starting her own business. People who are fans of her will want to see how she is doing in her business and it might inspire them to do a similar thing in the future for thems

Weekly News Story 8: Teen Vogue Black Panther Stars Surprise a Student With a Full Scholarship https://www.teenvogue.com/story/black-panther-stars-surprise-a-student-with-a-full-scholarship This is an example of soft news. The article is about the stars of Black Panther providing a scholarship to a student set up by Walt Disney Studios. This appeals to an audience as it fits with the values of the organisation to empower women and represent those of BAME descent. I think this is clickbait, it's not hard news. But I do think it reflects the values and ideologies of the website. People who are going to university soon will look up to this as maybe some sense of admiration to the stars and the student who got the scholarship. The target audience of the website is 18-24 so it will get a lot of views.

Weekly News Story 8: The Voice Young Authors Spotlight Black Heroes http://www.voice-online.co.uk/article/young-authors-spotlight-black-heroes The article is about 2 children who have written books about influential black people, educating others on their history. I think is an example of soft news and hard news. It does educate them and other young people on history and about the representation of black people in the media and how those of BAME descents are increasingly successful. It appeals to an audience as they may want to educate themselves on figures who are decorated in history and are successful from their origin. It is an example of personal identity. It does fit in with the values and ideologies of the website by featuring stories of those from black descent and empowering them in the media. I think it does feature some quality journalism as it doesn't deviate from the actual story.

He consistently argued that racial identities are historically constructed- formed by colonisation, slavery, nationalist philosophies and consumer capitalism. 2) What does Gilroy suggest regarding the causes and history of racism? Golliwog 'Mo Farah' Doll Banned From Kent Market http://www.voice-online.co.uk/article/golliwog-%E2%80%98mo-farah%E2%80%99-doll-banned-kent-market The doll was descried as 'racist', it was aimed to be marketed to Rastafarians, including one names Bob Marley. There were several complaints and the Medley council intervened and banned these dolls. But a pole from Kent Online 85pc of the 1809 people said they didn't find the doll offensive. I think this is an example of hard news, it shows the continuous story of racism in the UK, but also the history of  black caricatures. So it appeals to an audience as 'Surveillance'.

You have Jewellery kits, Google Home Hub, knitting kit, coffee machine etc.  This is an example of soft news and is using personal relationships, the relationships with some friends they know are creative driven. This is an example of clickbait, as it uses the word 'perfect', this will be exactly what they want which provides a sense of immediacy.
