Teen Vogue - week 3

This article is about On Saturday, December 8, the model posted several messages on Instagram Stories to address the way that the social media platform — and the mean people on it — affect her mental health. “Being off of Instagram is the best thing ever,” Hailey wrote. “Whenever I take breaks from it, I feel so much better, so much happy as a person. The second I come back on I get immediate anxiety, I get sad and I get worked up.”
Hailey went on to explain that, despite the fact that Instagram can be “incredible,” the app also comes with a negativity that “screams so loud.” She added that it’s sometimes hard for her to focus on her well-being and mental health when “someone is tearing apart your job, or your relationship, or essentially any of the things in your life that are positive.”

This is an example of soft news because it is to do with celebrity and social media.

This type of article will appeal to an audience because it is to do with a famous people and people want to know all the information about her and what her views are on the negativity and bullying that celebrities and young people get on social media. People want to support her in this and want to put an end to this negativity that people receive on social media which is categorised as bullying.

This article does reflect the ideologies and beliefs because they are a type of website that will post things about social media and celebrities. This is what they were known for before they had decided to change their ambitions and drive and focus on more hard news which is more informative, but they still also contain celebrity news as well.
